5 cups sugar
Large (12 oz) can evaporated milk
1/4 lb butter or margerine
12 oz container marshmallow fluff
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup walnuts (crushed)
2 large (12 oz) packages of chocolate pieces
Combine first five ingredients in a 4 quart sauce pan. Stir over low heat until melted and blended.
Bring to oil over moderate heat, being careful not to mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling. Boil slowly, stirring constantly for five (5) minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in chololate, vanilla and nuts until chocolate is melted. Pour into 2 buttered 9 x 9 pans and cool. Makes approximately 5 pounds.
