2 cans (28 -30 ounces each) pork 'n beans
1 Medium onion, chopped
6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
3/4 cup packed brown sugar (use an additional cup if you like it sweeter)
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup molasses* (use real molasses not dark karo or other dark corn or
cane syrup)
1/4 cup mustard
1 Tbsp vinegar
tsp dry mustard
Salt to taste if needed
1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
6 Slices bacon uncooked to put on top of beans when baking
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large Bowl; and mix well.
2. Pour into a 9X13 pan (larger if needed)
3. Place the 6 slices of bacon on top of the beans and place the pan
in the oven.
4. Bake uncovered, at 325 ° for 1 hours, or until they reach
the desired consistency.
