A very good friend opened the world of dolls to me - at this stage of life, who would have thought I'd be playing with dolls! It isn't a second childhood though, more like a first. Sure, I had heard of "Barbie and Ken", and all those "collectibles" that aren't meant to be touched, who hasn't. But, enter the world of Tonner® and it is a whole new ball game. My friend started me off with one doll, and in a week's time I had ten and now I have twelve. But, my limit is going to be 25! Yah, right!

I'll be posting pictures of my "gang" soon, and you'll see what I mean. Talk about addictive! Have been sewing doll clothes for the first time in my life, creating patterns, dyeing fabric and having the time of my life.

Did you know there are magazines about dolls? I mean "fashion" magazines with stories, by-lines and the whole nine yards - it is amazing! Then, you get into repaints, reroots and a whole lot of other things that I don't understand yet. There are Forums, web sites, furnishings and just about anything else you can imagine. eBay® is a wonderful source for all types of dolls. Then there are "Doll Parties" conventions, bartering, trading and actual stores with everything for the fashion doll enthusiast.
